Mentorship

Calling all ACHE Members (regardless of your current work role) that share interest in serving as a mentor (or may already be in that role)  to participate in the SCACHE Mentoring Program.  All information and materials will be provided prior to the June kick-off.  Consider using your current mentee (even if they are not an ACHE member) to participate or secure a new manager in your organization to expose them to ACHE.  Time commitment to serve as a mentor is a monthly contact and quarterly check-in from June to December.  You will realize the enjoyment of having a mentee which will be provided for you if you do not mentor or know of anyone currently, and you will gain a new connection in your healthcare career. Please consider this opportunity along with ACHE credit for pursuing or re-certifying for FACHE. For more information or if you are interested in earning credit towards recertifying your FACHE, contact Carol Beehler at carbeehler@gmail.com or a contact below:

Networking

Joining SC ACHE and networking is the link to professional and personal growth. Networking is especially important to finding success in the healthcare industry, as most healthcare jobs are filled through known or referred contacts in the industry. Professional networking can help in the search of new opportunities and in exploring different careers within healthcare, which is why students and early careerists should take advantage of networking. After joining ACHE and attending SC ACHE events, new relationships are built. Sometimes it only takes meeting the right person at the right time to unlock a new opportunity. For networking opportunities please see the events button below.
